About this role
BiomatiQ is looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager Microbiology to join our growing team in Hyderabad.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building new business, developing customer relationships and selling high-value microbiology solutions to the pharmaceutical and life-sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and business development across the assigned territory
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities
• Manage and grow relationships with Pharma / Biotech customers
• Engage with Microbiology, QC, QA, R&D and Procurement teams - Develop and manage distributor / channel partner relationships to expand market reach
• Sell solutions across microbiology, quality control, production and SHE departments within Pharma and Biopharma industries
• Lead the sales cycle from prospecting and technical discussions through demonstrations, commercial negotiations and order closure
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts
• Work closely with BiomatiQ's application and technical teams for customer trials and solution development
• Track market trends, competition and new business opportunities
What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of experience in sales/business development
• Experience in pharmaceutical microbiology, life sciences, laboratory products or related solutions
• Strong understanding of Pharma QC/Microbiology environments
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
. Distributor management experience will be an advantage
• Strong customer relationship and business development capabilities
• Target-oriented, self-driven and comfortable with extensive customer travel
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or a related field
