    About this role

    Description

Are you passionate about building scalable sales channels that empower entrepreneurs and drive seller growth on the world's largest marketplace The Amazon Trained Ecommerce Specialist (ATES) team is looking for a Sales Program Manager to help scale our third-party partner ecosystem that recruits, trains, and supports new sellers on Amazon. ATES is part of the Amazon's scaled channel for seller acquisition and provides business opportunities to budding entrepreneurs while enabling Amazon to acquire new Selling Partners at scale and at the lowest cost. In this role, you will own and drive programs that incentivise third-party partners to refer, launch, and grow sellers on Amazon Marketplace, directly impacting selection growth and GMS output.

People management experience is a must.

    Key job responsibilities

The Sales Program Manager will own the ATES partner channel end-to-end — from partner recruitment, onboarding, and certification through activation and performance management. This includes defining the strategy to grow the partner network, designing incentive structures and payout models that drive behaviors aligned to business goals (seller launches, FBA adoption, GMS targets), and building operational playbooks and program frameworks that enable the team to scale across geographies without adding headcount proportionally. The role requires analyzing program metrics (launches, partner activity, conversion rates, GMS output, cost-per-acquisition) to identify trends, diagnose root causes of misses, and write documents that propose solutions.

The Sales Program Manager will partner with Marketing, Training & Certification, Product, Operations, and Business Intelligence to remove blockers and improve the partner and seller experience. They will prepare and present business reviews (WBR, MBR, QBR) with data, narratives, and asks — and escalate risks before they become misses. They will manage partner communications, resolve escalations within defined SLAs, and identify automation and process improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort and lower cost-to-serve. The role demands setting goals, defining success criteria, and building mechanisms that surface gaps early and enable course correction.

    A day in the life

You'll start your day reviewing ATES program dashboards — tracking partner activity, seller launches, conversion funnels, and GMS milestones. You might spend your morning analyzing why a cohort of partners has lower-than-expected conversion rates, diving deep into the data to identify root causes and drafting an action plan. Mid-day, you could be leading a call with the training team to refine the certification curriculum based on partner feedback, or working with marketing on a campaign to recruit new ATES partners in an underserved geography. In the afternoon, you might review incentive payout data, collaborate with finance on program economics, and prepare a narrative document for your upcoming MBR. No two days are the same — you'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, always keeping the seller and partner experience at the center of your decisions.

    About The Team

The program started in India in 2016 and has successfully scaled to multiple geographies.
