Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Operations Analyst based in Coimbatore. The Sales Operations Analyst will support the sales team by managing and optimizing sales processes, maintaining accurate sales data, and generating regular performance reports and dashboards. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking key sales metrics, analyzing trends, and providing insights to improve forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue performance. The role involves collaborating closely with sales, finance, and marketing teams to streamline workflows, ensure data integrity in CRM and related tools, and support planning for campaigns and initiatives. The analyst will also assist in creating sales documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials to drive efficiency and consistency across the sales organization.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, reporting, and the ability to derive actionable insights from sales metrics.
- Sales and sales operations expertise, including familiarity with CRM tools, pipeline management, forecasting, and process optimization.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic finance understanding related to revenue, margins, pricing, and sales performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI or reporting tools is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a similar role in EdTech or services organizations is an advantage.
