Sales Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage distributors, retailers, and wholesalers and maintain strong relationships.
• Appoint new distributors and ensure proper market coverage.
• Take orders, manage claims, and resolve distributor issues.
• Guide and motivate Customer Representatives to achieve sales targets.
• Plan beats, routes, and market visits for the sales team.
• Monitor daily sales, stock availability, and market coverage.
• Implement company schemes and ensure proper execution.
• Track competitor activities, products, and schemes.
• Maintain sales records and prepare regular performance reports.
• Analyze sales gaps and take corrective actions to achieve targets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in FMCG/Consumer Goods sales preferred.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong distributor and market handling skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a sales team.
• Target-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
