Sales Officer/Senior Sales Officer - Vapi

Role & responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Manage and develop distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key outlets.
• Ensure effective product distribution and availability across the market.
• Conduct regular market visits and identify new business opportunities.
• Increase numeric and weighted distribution of company products.
• Ensure proper implementation of company schemes, promotions, and trade offers.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and promotions and provide market feedback.
• Maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
• Ensure timely order booking, collection of outstanding payments, and healthy distributor stocks.
• Execute visibility and merchandising standards at retail outlets.
• Ensure proper product placement, FIFO/FEFO, and control of expiry/damages.
• Track secondary sales, outlet productivity, and territory performance.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and market intelligence.
• Work closely with the Area Sales Manager to develop territory plans and achieve business objectives.
