Sales Officer- Modern Trade

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned monthly sales targets and drive primary and secondary sales.
• Manage regular coverage of assigned Modern Trade outlets.
• Ensure on-shelf availability, product visibility, merchandising and planogram compliance.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment with distributors.
• Execute trade promotions, consumer schemes and in-store activations.
• Build strong relationships with store managers and retail teams.
• Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor pricing, promotions, launches and visibility.
• Identify opportunities for new SKU listings and distribution expansion.
• Monitor distributor inventory, secondary sales, returns and ageing stock.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, Marketing and Distributor teams.
• Maintain daily/weekly sales reports and outlet-wise/SKU-wise performance data.
• Provide regular market feedback and updates to the reporting manager.
