Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales Officer to drive sales and business development in Cuttack and the assigned Odisha territory.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the dealer and distributor network, generating orders, achieving sales targets, maintaining customer relationships and expanding market presence.

Candidates with prior experience in **Electrical & Lighting, Electrical Equipment, Electrical Accessories will be preferred. Candidates with strong experience in **dealer/distributor/channel sales will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the dealer and distributor network in the assigned territory.
• Identify and appoint new dealers/distributors to expand market coverage.
• Generate sales and achieve assigned monthly and quarterly targets.
• Develop strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors and customers.
• Generate orders through product knowledge, product demonstrations, schemes and pricing discussions.
• Conduct regular market visits and understand customer requirements.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries and payment collections.
• Communicate product schemes, offers and pricing to dealers and customers.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer feedback.
• Support initiatives to improve brand visibility and market penetration.
• Resolve customer/dealer issues and coordinate with internal teams for timely solutions.
• Prepare regular sales, collection and market reports for the reporting manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 215 years of relevant experience in Sales / B2B / Channel / Dealer / Distributor Sales.
• Experience in Electrical & Lighting, Electrical Equipment or Electrical Accessories will be strongly preferred..
• Strong experience in Dealer / Distributor / Channel Sales.
• Experience in developing and managing distribution networks.
• Good communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Strong business development and market-development abilities.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Candidates with Cuttack/Odisha market knowledge will be preferred.

Priority will be given to candidates with:

Electrical/Lighting + Dealer/Distributor + B2B/Channel Sales + Odisha Market Experience
