Sales & Marketing Officer

Job Summary

The Field Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales, onboarding new sub dealers/electricians/customers/retailers, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients for our range of electrical wires and cables. This is a target-driven, on-ground role requiring frequent market visits, relationship management, and a strong understanding of the electrical trade ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and onboard new customers, retailers, and contractors within the assigned territory
• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for wires and cables (LT/HT cables, house wires, control cables, etc.)
• Conduct regular field visits to existing customers to maintain relationships and ensure repeat business
• Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends; report insights to management
• Coordinate with electricians, contractors, and site engineers to generate project-based/institutional sales leads
• Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit terms with channel partners
• Execute promotional activities, dealer meets, electrician engagement programs, and local marketing initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, orders, and follow-ups (via CRM/reporting formats)
• Coordinate with the back-office/logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve customer complaints
• Provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to the Sales Manager
