About this role
Overview:
Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Marketing Executive to promote and sell scientific instruments, consumables, reagents, and solutions from leading multinational companies to customers across the life sciences sector. The role involves engaging with research institutions, universities, healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and laboratories across Goa. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and presentation skills, a scientific background, and an interest in developing a career in technical sales and marketing within the life sciences industry.
Job Responsibilities :
- Promote and market molecular biology, microbiology, and life science products and services.
- Visit research institutions, universities, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and laboratories across Goa.
- Meet scientists, professors, researchers, and key decision-makers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, discussions, and demonstrations where required.
- Generate new business opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries, and support the sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams and principals for technical and commercial support.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence.
- Stay updated on developments in life sciences research, laboratory technologies, and industry trends.
Job Requirements
- Qualification in M.Sc. Biology. Biotechnology, or Microbiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand and explain scientific products and technologies.
- Customer-focused approach with a willingness to travel for field visits.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Basic knowledge of life sciences research applications will be an advantage.
