Role Description The Sales Manager will oversee the development and execution of sales strategies to expand the company’s customer base in the pharma, nutraceutical, and related industries. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and negotiating contracts and pricing to meet revenue and margin targets. The role involves collaborating with technical and operations teams to understand product specifications, address client requirements, and ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will prepare sales forecasts, analyze market trends, and provide regular performance reports to leadership. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kanpur, requiring daily interaction with clients, internal teams, and local market stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with the ability to drive consistent revenue growth.
- Knowledge of pharma, nutraceutical, or related life sciences products and markets, with the ability to understand technical product details.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, including the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency in basic sales reporting, CRM tools, and MS Office for tracking pipelines and preparing forecasts.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Kanpur, manage field visits, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in B2B sales within pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, or chemicals is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
