Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Indore, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The person in this role will oversee the sales cycle for electrical and automated panels, from prospecting and lead generation through negotiation and closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, preparing and delivering technical and commercial proposals, and coordinating product demonstrations. The Sales Manager will collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate specifications, timely deliveries, and high customer satisfaction. The role also involves monitoring market trends, forecasting sales, reporting performance metrics, and contributing to strategic sales planning.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in B2B sales, account management, and business development within industrial or electrical products.
- Experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and contract closing for technical solutions.
- Understanding of electrical panels, power factor correction systems, and industrial automation (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Proficiency in sales reporting, pipeline management, and use of CRM tools.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; relevant experience in electrical or automation industries is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with local and regional travel to meet clients and visit project sites as required.
