Position Overview
Premdeep Jewels is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead showroom sales operations, drive
revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and develop a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will
have strong knowledge of the jewellery industry, excellent customer-handling skills, and a proven ability to achieve sales
targets in a premium retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the showroom sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Set clear sales goals, monitor individual and team performance, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Drive sales of gold, diamond, 18K gold and other jewellery categories through effective customer engagement.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a premium, professional showroom experience.
• Handle high-value customers and assist the team in complex or premium jewellery sales.
• Monitor daily walk-ins, conversions, average bill value, category-wise sales and other key sales performance
indicators.
• Conduct daily sales briefings, review targets and communicate priorities to the sales team.
• Train, coach and motivate sales executives on product knowledge, selling techniques, customer handling and closing
skills.
• Ensure proper follow-up with enquiries, existing customers, leads and prospective customers to improve conversion.
• Coordinate with the purchase, accounts, marketing and management teams for smooth showroom operations.
• Support promotional campaigns, festive offers, customer events and marketing activities to maximize sales
opportunities.
• Ensure proper product presentation, visual merchandising and showroom discipline.

• Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate timely resolution while protecting the brand relationship.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales performance reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, billing procedures, stock-handling practices and security standards.
Key Performance Areas (KPIs)
• Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
• Sales conversion ratio and customer walk-in conversion.
• Average bill value and revenue per customer.
• Category-wise sales growth, including gold, diamonds and 18K jewellery.
• Customer retention, repeat business and enquiry follow-up.
• Team productivity, discipline and target achievement.
• Quality of customer service and complaint resolution.
• Accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in the jewellery industry, preferably in a showroom sales management
role.
• Strong knowledge of gold and diamond jewellery, product categories, designs and customer buying behaviour.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, customer-handling and leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of retail sales processes and showroom operations.
• Ability to work with sales reports, targets and performance metrics.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively during weekends, festive seasons and high-footfall periods.
