Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and acquire customers for Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, and end-to-end logistics services.
• Identify prospective clients, conduct sales meetings, customer visits, and generate leads to achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
• Manage existing key accounts, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure customer retention and business growth.
• Prepare and negotiate freight quotations, pricing proposals, and service agreements while maintaining healthy profit margins.
• Coordinate with pricing, operations, customer service, and overseas agents to provide competitive rates and efficient logistics solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Develop sales strategies, maintain a sales pipeline, and prepare revenue forecasts and periodic sales performance reports.
• Handle customer queries, resolve service-related issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor customer profitability, outstanding payments, and credit limits in coordination with the finance team.
• Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve individual and overall business targets.
• Explore new trade lanes, industries, and markets to expand the company's customer base and market share.
• Maintain customer records, sales reports, quotations, and follow-ups using CRM systems or internal reporting tools.
