Role Description

The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for driving new business acquisition and managing key accounts in the infrastructure solutions space, with a focus on warehouse and retail projects. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating contracts in coordination with internal stakeholders. The Sales Manager collaborates closely with project, engineering, and procurement teams to align client requirements with BMI's service offerings and ensure smooth project handover. The role also involves monitoring sales performance metrics, maintaining accurate CRM records, and contributing to sales strategies that support revenue growth and long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong B2B sales, business development, and account management skills, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or related services.
• Demonstrated ability in lead generation, pipeline management, and consultative selling to enterprise and mid-market clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of project-based services (e.g., Civil, MEP, HVAC, Electrical, security and IT infrastructure) or willingness to learn technical concepts quickly.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis for forecasting and reporting.
• Proven capability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple opportunities, and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience working with e-commerce, logistics, or industrial clients in Pan India markets is highly beneficial.
