Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities.

• Develop new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Generate leads and convert them into sales.
• Visit construction sites, builders, contractors, architects and dealers regularly.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Negotiate prices, prepare quotations and close deals.
• Follow up on enquiries, orders, payments and deliveries.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing.
• Maintain regular sales reports and customer databases.

Key Skills Required.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building/construction material sales.
• Strong knowledge of the construction materials market.
• Good network among builders, contractors, architects, dealers and construction companies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong lead generation and customer relationship management skills.
• Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
• Good knowledge of Chennai market and construction industry.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Chennai is preferred.
