Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Generate new leads through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and other channels.
• Identify potential customers and convert leads into sales opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/services.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct product presentations, meetings, and demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales pipeline information in CRM.
• Follow up consistently with prospects and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order processing and customer onboarding.
• Track market trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
• 1–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Good convincing and relationship-building abilities.
• Target-oriented with a strong focus on achieving results.
• Ability to generate leads and develop new business opportunities.
• Comfortable with cold calling, client meetings, and follow-ups.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, if required.
• Freshers with strong communication and sales aptitude may also be considered.
