Sales Manager- wires and cables manufacturer company

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and expand dealer, distributor, retailer, and electrician networks in assigned territory.
• Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Appoint and manage distributors as per company policy.
• Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis.
• Increase product visibility through retailer engagement and influencer programs.
• Build strong relationships with electricians, contractors, builders, and channel partners.
• Ensure product availability and stock movement at distributor and retail counters.
• Plan and execute sales promotion activities, dealer meets, and electrician meets.
• Monitor collections and ensure adherence to credit policies.
• Generate market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, schemes, and new launches.
• Submit daily sales reports, pipeline updates, and market feedback.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
• 8 to 10 years of sales experience in:
• Wires & Cables
• Electrical Products
• Switchgear
• Lighting
• Pumps
• Building Material Industry
• Strong dealer/distributor network in the assigned city.
• Knowledge of channel sales and retail distribution.
• Good negotiation and relationship management skills.
