Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Manager / Sales Executive with experience in Project Sales, Institutional Sales, B2B Sales and Business Development.

The candidate will be responsible for developing business through large projects and building relationships with builders, developers, architects, consultants, contractors, dealers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop large project and institutional sales opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with builders, developers, architects, MEP/electrical consultants and contractors.
• Identify upcoming projects and generate project enquiries.
• Work towards getting company products specified and approved in projects.
• Handle product presentations and demonstrations with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Track tenders, BOQs and project requirements.
• Follow up with consultants, contractors and procurement teams for product approval and order conversion.
• Develop and maintain dealer and distributor networks.
• Identify new customers and expand market presence.
• Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, pricing, product availability and order execution.
• Monitor competitors and market opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales and business-development targets.
• Maintain regular project and sales reports.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in Building Materials, Electrical Products, Wires & Cables, Electrical Accessories or related industries.
• Strong experience in Project Sales / Institutional Sales / B2B Sales.
• Experience dealing with builders, developers, architects, consultants and contractors.
• Experience in project specification, product approval, tender/BOQ and project conversion will be preferred.
• Dealer/distributor and channel sales experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates who have handled large private or government projects will be preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively as required.

Territory

North India: Candidate will handle the North India market/assigned territory.

Mumbai: Candidate will handle Mumbai and assigned surrounding markets.

Other areas: Territory will be decided during the interview based on the candidate's experience, market knowledge and business requirements.
