Sales Manager Pharma Retail Expansion

Role Objective

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager / Consultant Pharma Retail Expansion who can spearhead our organised retail expansion. The primary responsibility will be to identify, onboard, negotiate with, and develop relationships with organised pharmacy chains and retail networks, ensuring successful product listing, placement, availability, and sales growth across key markets. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of pharma/nutraceutical retail and established relationships with pharmacy procurement and category teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard leading organised pharmacy chains and retail networks for PlusPlus products.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with procurement heads, category managers, purchase teams, and retail decision-makers.

• Drive product listing, onboarding, negotiations, commercial discussions, and closures.

• Develop and execute a strategic pharma retail expansion plan across key markets.

• Identify new retail opportunities and develop a pipeline of potential pharmacy partners.

• Drive product placement, visibility, availability, and growth across retail outlets..

• Monitor sales performance, inventory movement, product availability, and retailer performance.

• Identify opportunities for increasing product penetration and category growth.

• Negotiate commercial terms, margins, schemes, promotions, and other retail requirements.

• Prepare regular reports on retail onboarding, sales, listings, inventory, and business development activities.

• Develop strong market intelligence around nutraceuticals, women's health, wellness, supplements, and healthcare products.

• Build long-term strategic partnerships with organised retail chains.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in pharma, nutraceutical, FMCG, healthcare, wellness, or organised retail sales.

• Strong experience in pharma retail / organised pharmacy chain business development.

• Good understanding of retail procurement and product listing processes.

• Existing relationships with organised pharmacy chains will be highly preferred.

• Experience dealing with procurement teams, category managers, and retail decision-makers.

• Experience in women's health, nutraceuticals, supplements, wellness, or healthcare categories will be an added advantage.

• Strong negotiation, communication, relationship management, and business development skills.

• Proven ability to independently identify opportunities and convert them into business.

• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of retail margins and trade practices.

• Willingness to travel across markets as required.
