Sales Manager - Freight forwarding

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with strong expertise in freight forwarding and logistics sales. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing key customer relationships, and achieving revenue and sales targets across Ocean Freight and Air Freight services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and business targets.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
• Acquire new customers and develop long-term relationships with existing clients.
• Promote Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and other logistics solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close commercial deals.
• Conduct regular client visits and understand customer logistics requirements.
• Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and freight rates.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales reports.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of customers, shippers, importers, exporters, and industry contacts.
• Handle customer queries, negotiations, and escalations effectively.
