Role Description The Sales Manager – Bajaj Life Insurance Direct Channel is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This role is responsible for leading and managing the direct sales team, driving acquisition of new life insurance customers, and meeting sales and revenue targets through the direct channel. The Sales Manager will plan and execute sales strategies, monitor performance metrics, and ensure adherence to regulatory and company guidelines. Daily responsibilities include coaching and motivating the team, conducting sales reviews, coordinating with marketing and operations for lead generation and process improvement, and ensuring high standards of customer service. The role also involves analyzing market trends, providing feedback on product positioning, and preparing regular reports and forecasts for senior management.

Qualifications

• Strong sales management skills, including team leadership, target setting, and performance monitoring.
• Proven ability in direct channel or retail financial services sales, preferably in life insurance or related domains.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Analytical and planning skills for forecasting, reporting, and developing data-driven sales strategies.
• Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service quality, compliance, and ethical business practices.
• Experience using CRM tools, digital sales platforms, and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Prior experience managing a sales team in insurance, banking, or financial services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and adapt to evolving products and processes.
