About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Sales Manager – Agency to build and grow the Agency business through recruitment, development and management of Life Advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard quality Life Advisors through various sourcing channels and local market activities.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential Advisors.
• Coach, train, motivate and support Advisors to improve their sales performance and productivity.
• Ensure new Advisors complete the required IRDA examination and develop strong product knowledge.
• Guide Advisors on prospecting, lead generation, customer appointments and follow-ups.
• Conduct joint field calls and provide regular feedback and coaching.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual business targets.
• Maintain Advisor productivity as per the business plan.
• Build strong relationships within the local market and identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor the quality of business and ensure customer-centric and ethical sales practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IRDA guidelines and organizational processes.
• Maintain proper sales, recruitment and customer follow-up records.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum Graduation in any discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in Sales / BFSI / Insurance; relevant Agency Sales experience will be preferred.
• Strong understanding of the local market with a good customer/contact base.
• Experience in Life Advisor/Agent recruitment and team development will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Good planning, coaching and team management abilities.
• Own conveyance is required.
• Currently working candidates will be preferred.
• Stable career history with consistent performance will be preferred.
• Female candidates will be preferred.
• Maximum Age: 35 years.
