Sales Intern

Job Summary

• Assist the sales team in identifying and generating new business opportunities.
• Support lead generation activities through online research, social media, and other channels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and sales opportunities.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the sales pipeline and customer database.
• Contact prospective clients through calls, emails, and other communication channels.
• Assist in arranging business meetings with prospective clients.
• Support the sales team in preparing client presentations, proposals, and other sales-related documents.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Follow up with leads and assist in converting them into potential customers.
• Work closely with the sales and business development team to achieve business goals.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
• MBA in Sales Marketing is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interest in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
• Good interpersonal and networking skills.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.
• Ability to conduct basic market research and identify potential leads.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude and a target-oriented approach.
