Sales Executive

Position: Inside Sales & Lead Generation Intern
Business Unit: Intracity Transportation (SME Segment)
Duration: 2–3 Months
Locations: Pune & Mumbai
Stipend- Upto 20k
Role Purpose
The Inside Sales Intern will focus 100% on pipeline generation and desk-based business development. You will be responsible for identifying target prospects, executing cold calling campaigns, qualifying incoming leads, and maintaining systematic records in our sales database to keep the field sales team fueled with opportunities.
Core Responsibilities

• Lead Sourcing & Data Mining: Research local SME clusters, industrial zones, and digital registries to compile fresh lead lists.
  
• Outbound Calling: Execute structured cold-calling campaigns to reach decision-makers (Logistics/Operations Heads) and introduce our services.
  
• Lead Qualification: Assess prospective client needs, monthly transport volumes, and current pain points to qualify leads before handing them over to Sales Managers.
  
• CRM & Excel Tracking: Accurately update lead statuses, call outcomes, and follow-ups on Excel tracking sheets daily.
  
• Pitching Support: Assist in drafting cold emails, customized pitch decks, and commercial proposals for warm leads.
  

Qualifications & Skills Needed

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  
• Confidence in making outbound cold calls.
  
• Proficiency in MS Excel for database management.
  
• Persuasive attitude with a drive to hit weekly lead generation targets.
