Roles and Responsibility

• Manage and maintain the safety and security of the vessel and its cargo.
• Coordinate with crew members to ensure efficient operation of the ship's systems and equipment.
• Monitor and report any defects or issues with the vessel's hull, superstructure, or equipment.
• Develop and implement procedures for maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior officers and crew members as needed.

Job Requirements

• One year of rank experience, preferably on a handysize bulk carrier with gears.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with navigation and cargo handling equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
