Sales Executive

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Executive for our Nashik store.

This is a full-time, on-site role for someone with prior experience in the pet care or pet products industry and a strong understanding of pets and their requirements.

The Sales Executive will interact with pet parents, understand their needs, recommend appropriate products, and actively contribute towards achieving the store's sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and understand their pets requirements.
• Recommend and sell suitable pet food, treats, accessories, grooming and wellness products.
• Actively drive sales through upselling, cross-selling and product recommendations.
• Build strong relationships with pet parents and encourage repeat business.
• Maintain good knowledge of products, brands, ingredients, benefits and their suitability for different pets.
• Ensure shelves and product displays are properly maintained and stocked.
• Assist with billing, inventory checks and day-to-day store operations.
• Handle customer queries and provide a high standard of service.
• Support store promotions, loyalty programs and other sales initiatives.
• Work closely with the store team to achieve individual and overall store targets.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior experience in the pet care/pet products industry is strongly preferred.
• Very good knowledge of pets, pet nutrition and pet products.
• Previous experience in retail sales or a customer-facing sales role.
• Strong selling, customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and confidently recommend suitable products.
• Basic spoken and written English is required, along with proficiency in local languages.
• Comfortable working around dogs, cats and other pets.
• Target-oriented, proactive and willing to take ownership of sales.
• Ability to work on-site in Nashik, including weekends and peak business hours.
• Minimum high school qualification; additional qualifications will be an advantage.
