Sales Executive Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for energetic, customer-focused, and target-oriented Sales Executives to drive retail sales and business development in Agra and Firozabad. The ideal candidate should understand the local market and preferably have experience in ceramic, tiles, sanitaryware, building materials, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective customer engagement and business development.
• Generate new leads and develop business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, retailers, architects, interior designers, contractors, and customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Develop strong product knowledge and effectively communicate product features, benefits, pricing, and applications.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify new opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to convert leads into sales.
• Maintain accurate records of customer visits, leads, sales activities, and follow-ups.
• Collect market feedback, competitor information, and customer insights and share them with management.
• Coordinate timely follow-up for quotations, orders, payments, and customer requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and activity reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Graduate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Prior sales experience preferred; retail or building-material experience will be an advantage.
• Industry Preference: Ceramic, tiles, sanitaryware, bath fittings, construction materials, or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills.
• Target-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Good knowledge of the Agra/Firozabad market and surrounding areas is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
