Role Description The Sales Executive Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the growth of GEO SEO Lab’s customer base. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential clients, identifying target segments, and assisting with outreach via email, social media, and virtual meetings. The intern will help prepare sales presentations, demos, and proposals, and will support follow-ups with leads to move them through the sales pipeline. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records in the CRM, coordinating with marketing to align messaging, and gathering feedback from prospects to improve sales strategies. This internship offers hands-on experience in tech sales, exposure to AI-powered marketing solutions, and collaboration with a cross-functional team.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including confident written and verbal communication and the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
- Candidates should possess basic sales and business development skills, such as lead research, prospecting, and understanding of sales pipelines or CRM tools.
- Candidates should possess analytical and research skills, including the ability to interpret data, understand market trends, and identify opportunities in digital and AI-driven search ecosystems.
- Candidates should possess familiarity or interest in digital marketing, SEO, and AI technologies, including concepts like search visibility, online reputation, and competitor analysis.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks or leads at once.
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is beneficial; prior internship or project experience in sales or marketing is a plus.
- Comfort with online collaboration tools, presentation software, and basic productivity applications is expected; curiosity and willingness to learn are highly valued.
