Sales Executive (Industrial Automation)

What You'll Do

• Own the full B2B sales cycle lead generation, discovery, technical/commercial proposals, negotiation, and closing — for our product portfolio (Level-2 MES, industrial historians, IoT solutions) and services
• Build and manage relationships with plant IT heads, engineering managers, and procurement teams at steel and heavy industry accounts
• Travel to customer plants/sites for meetings, demos, and relationship building
• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to develop tailored proposals and BOQs
• Track pipeline and forecasts using CRM tools; report regularly to leadership
• Represent Datanimics at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a provable, quantified track record (revenue closed, targets hit, deal sizes — not just activity metrics)
• Prior experience selling to manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry customers strongly preferred
• Comfortable with technical/consultative selling — ability to learn SCADA, MES, OPC, and industrial automation concepts
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer plants/sites regularly
• Strong CRM discipline and communication skills
• Engineering background (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation) is a plus but not mandatory

Nice to Have

• Existing relationships with JSW, Tata Steel, SAIL, or similar accounts
• Experience with GeM portal / government tenders
• Background in process industries, process equipment, or other technical B2B sales adjacent to manufacturing
