Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding)

Job Summary

PSL Global India Private Limited is looking for detail-oriented, responsible and customer-focused professionals to join our Business development team . We welcome applications from experienced candidates with knowledge of freight forwarding - Business Development and customer coordination for Sales. Location: Ahmedabad, India.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and generate new business for freight forwarding services including Air Freight, Sea Freight (Import & Export), and related logistics solutions.
• Identify and approach potential customers, build strong relationships, and convert leads into business.
• Maintain and grow existing client accounts by offering competitive rates and value-added services.
• Prepare and negotiate freight quotations, contracts, and pricing with customers in coordination with operations teams.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates for management.
• Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry-related activities as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations (Air & Sea), Incoterms, and international trade processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to close deals and manage long-term client relationships.
• Good understanding of pricing, cost structures, and profit margins in logistics.
