Sales Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Visit OEMs, machine builders, and manufacturing plants to identify new opportunities.
• Understand customer applications and recommend suitable valves, cylinders, grippers, and related products.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries, trials, and orders.
• Build long-term relationships with engineering, maintenance, purchase, and production teams.
• Coordinate with our internal team and principals for technical and commercial support.
• Maintain visit reports, opportunity updates, and sales forecasts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
• Experience in industrial sales, preferably pneumatics, automation, machine components, or related products.
• Comfortable discussing technical applications and visiting customers regularly.
• Good communication and follow-up skills; ability to communicate in Tamil and English.
• Willingness to travel within Chennai and nearby industrial areas.
