Sales Engineer

BACKGROUND OF THE ROLE

Taurus Powertronics is looking to onboard an energetic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to become a part of the sales team. Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer will hold a key position in fostering sales expansion, offering technical insight, and ensuring outstanding customer service within the assigned region.

Key Markets

State TRANSCOs, DISCOMs, Power Utilities, Railways, Metro Corporations, Industries, Renewable Energy Developers, and Power Generation Companies in Southern India.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify new business opportunities and potential customers, leveraging technical insights and industry knowledge to drive sales growth.

Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions for customers to showcase our offerings and address their technical inquiries.

•

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their technical requirements and providing customized solutions.

•

Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing technical inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

•

Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in the power sector, providing insights and recommendations to the Regional Sales Manager.

•

Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates on technical sales activities, achievements and challenges.

•

Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager and other team members to align technical and sales strategies, share best practices, and achieve achieve targets.

•

Coordinate with internal departments, including operations, logistics, admin, product development to ensure seamless execution of technical sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
