About this role
Customer Visits
* Visit industries, pump manufacturers, OEMs, sugar, distillery, pharma, chemical and process industries.
* Meet maintenance, purchase, production and plant engineering teams.
* Identify mechanical seal requirements and problems.
2. Technical Understanding
* Understand pump/agitator applications.
* Collect shaft size, pressure, temperature, RPM, fluid, equipment make/model and seal arrangement.
* Recommend the correct mechanical seal and materials.
3. Lead Generation
* Find new customers and new applications.
* Develop OEM and dealer relationships.
* Generate enquiries through field visits, calls and LinkedIn.
4. Quotation & Order Follow-up
* Coordinate with design/technical team for quotations.
* Submit quotations on time.
* Follow up quotations until PO/order.
* Maintain quotation-to-order conversion records.
5. Existing Customer Development
* Regularly visit existing customers.
* Identify replacement requirements.
* Promote additional Maruti Seal products.
* Build long-term customer relationships.
6. Service & Complaint Coordination
* Attend seal leakage/failure complaints.
* Collect failure information and photographs.
* Coordinate with service/production/design teams for solutions.
* Prepare proper feedback after site visits.
7. Daily Reporting
* Daily minimum customer calls/contacts.
* Daily field visits.
* Record new enquiries.
* Submit quotation follow-up report.
* Maintain CRM/customer database.
8. Sales Target
* Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
* Focus on converting existing quotations into orders.
