Eligibility & Education Criteria

• Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant sales certification will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for industrial sensor products across the Pune region.
• Generate leads through customer visits, market mapping, references, and networking.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to business growth.

Client Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, machine manufacturers, distributors, and industrial customers.
• Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate sensor solutions.

Technical Expertise

• Provide technical guidance on sensor selection, application, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical features and benefits to customers.
• Understand applications involving proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, inductive/captive sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, ultrasonic sensors, encoders, and related products.

Proposal & Quotation

• Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and product recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to provide appropriate technical and commercial solutions.
• Handle customer queries and follow up until order closure.

Market Analysis

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Identify new applications and business opportunities for sensor products.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with engineering, product, and marketing teams for customer requirements and product support.
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, visit reports, and sales forecasts.
• Provide periodic updates to management.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of industrial sensors and their applications, understanding of automation systems, ability to identify sensor requirements, and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Sales Skills: Strong lead generation, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, customer-oriented approach, and B2B/industrial sales experience (preferred).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts effectively.
• Location Requirement: Candidate must be based in Pune and willing to travel extensively across the Pune region.
