Role & responsibilities

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures the timely execution of customer orders

Sales

• Conduct customer surveys within the assigned area of operations to understand customer requirements and

market potential.

• Contact customers and follow up on pending quotations, proposals, and correspondence.
• Maintain an updated and complete set of product literature, catalogues, brochures, and price lists for all

company products.

• Verify all technical and commercial details while collecting and confirming customer orders.
• Prepare and maintain the REO (Register of Expected Orders) based on the prescribed time frame.
• Attend sales conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows as per the scheduled programme.
• Plan and organize tour programme based on the REO, customer list, and prospective new customers.
• Conduct regular market surveys to identify business opportunities and understand market trends.
• Collect and analyze information regarding competitors, including their products, pricing, and market activities.
• Identify potential areas and recommend suitable dealers for business development.
• Identify potential markets and areas for increasing sales of GMT products.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduates with mechanical and automobile engineering with 2 to 5 years experience in sales and service of engineering equipment and preferably machine tools.
