Sales Engineer | Environment Division Noise & Vibration

Role & responsibilities

• Sales & Marketing of Environment Products, especially Noise related products to the Indian market.
• Develop, implement and monitor the technical and commercial strategy on the Indian market for Noise & Vibration line of business Products.
• Study the competitive environment.
• Provide business intelligence on the market to identify major projects.
• Develop adequate means to expand the sales.
• Perform accurate reporting of its activities, update the commercial database and provide business forecasts to the Regional Business Manager.
• Sales Assistance to the sales/distribution network (distributors / agents).
• Expand the customer network within the designated geographical area.
• Help establish yearly action plans, yearly targets and follow up on them.
• Communicate with distributors on new projects.
• Negotiating direct contracts/sales.
• Identification of prospect.
• Collect the necessary information for the establishment of new projects/contracts.
• Get the tender publish on our Lock in Specifications.
• Submit the commercial conditions in line with the customer requirement.
• Negotiating contracts/tender submission.
• Payments follow up.
• Reporting.
• Regular updation of leads and opportunities in the Salesforce.
• Monthly review meetings with Head of Sales, product manager/specialist.
• Quarterly joint review meetings with the Managing Director.

Skills required:

• Customer relationship building.
• Proficient in spoken and written in English.
• Good connection & knowledge of Central and State Pollution Control Boards (CPCB/SPCB) requirements and associated regulatory frameworks.
• Knowledge of Noise monitoring requirements, airport authorities, and industries.
• Preference will be given to the experience in Noise Pollution related sales.
• Experience in private industries (Cement plants, Power plants, Refineries, Steel plant, etc.) will be preferred.
