    About this role

    The Role

We're hiring an SDR to drive top-of-funnel pipeline through outbound outreach — prospecting, messaging, and booking qualified conversations with engineering leaders and quality teams. This isn't a send more emails role. We want someone who treats messaging as a craft, uses AI tools to sharpen their own outreach the way our product helps customers sharpen their testing, and brings genuine energy to a role that requires resilience.

    What You'll Do
    • Prospect and build targeted outbound lists of ideal customers (engineering leaders, QA/quality teams, IT decision-makers)
    • Write and continuously refine cold outreach — email, LinkedIn, and other channels — that actually gets replies
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, and book meetings for the sales team
    • Use AI tools to test, iterate, and personalize messaging at scale — this is a core part of how we expect this role to be done, not a nice-to-have
    • Track and report on outreach performance (response rates, meetings booked, pipeline generated), and use that data to keep improving
    • Partner closely with marketing to stay aligned on positioning, messaging, and campaign timing
    • Represent ContextQA's value clearly and credibly in every conversation — no generic pitches

    Who You Are
    • 3-5 years of experience in SDR, BDR, or outbound sales roles
    • Excellent communication skills — written and verbal. You can write a cold email that doesn't sound like a cold email.
    • A genuine can-do attitude. Outbound is a grind by nature; we want someone who brings energy and persistence to it, not someone who needs to be pushed.
    • Understanding of B2B positioning and messaging — you know the difference between a feature and a value proposition, and you can adjust your pitch for a VP vs. a hands-on engineer.
    • Comfortable using AI tools to do your job better — for research, messaging drafts, personalization, and iterating based on what's working. We are an AI company, and we expect our own team to use AI well.
    • Familiarity with sales tools (CRM, sequencing/outreach platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is a plus.

    Who You Are Not
    • Someone who needs a fully built-out playbook to perform. This is a startup: the tooling is scrappy, and the pace is fast.
    • Someone looking for a purely transactional, volume-only outbound role. We care as much about message quality as message quantity.

    What Success Looks Like
    • Consistent, high-quality pipeline generation month over month
    • Messaging that improves over time — not static scripts, but outreach that's actively tested and refined using AI tools
    • Strong handoff quality to the sales team — qualified, well-prepared conversations, not just booked calendar slots
