Sales Coordinator

Role & responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the sales team in day-to-day operations, order processing, and follow-ups
• Prepare and maintain sales reports, MIS, and dashboards using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, formulas, charts)
• Enter, update, and track sales orders, invoices, and customer data in the ERP system
• Liaise between sales, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Track sales targets, follow up on pending payments/orders, and generate periodic performance reports
• Maintain and update customer database, price lists, and quotations
• Coordinate with dispatch/warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery
• Handle client queries, complaints, and after-sales coordination
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales MIS reports for management review
• Assist in sales forecasting and inventory coordination through the ERP

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Business background preferred)
• 13 years of experience in a sales coordination/back-office support role
• Strong hands-on expertise in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, reporting)
• Working experience with any ERP software (SAP, Tally ERP, Oracle, Zoho, or similar)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
