Sales Consultant Transportation & Logistics

• Identify and develop new customers requiring transportation services.
• Generate leads through telephone calls, email, referrals and existing professional networks.
• Contact prospective customers and understand their transportation requirements.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Coordinate with operations, transporters, fleet owners and dispatch teams to support customer requirements.
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries, and prospective business.
• Maintain a simple record of leads, customers, follow-ups, and sales opportunities.
• Achieve mutually agreed sales or business-development targets.
• Provide market feedback regarding transportation rates, customer requirements, and competitors.

Preferred candidate profile

• Retired or experienced professional from transportation, logistics, freight, fleet management, supply chain, courier, warehousing, or related industries.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, operations or customer relationship management.
• Good contacts with companies, transporters, fleet owners, manufacturers, distributors, retailers or other businesses.
• Basic computer, email, WhatsApp, Excel, and CRM skills.
• Knowledge of local/regional transportation markets is an advantage.
