About this role
Job Summary
- To propose and install specialised, tailor-made solar water heating systems greater than 1000 litres in size.
- To propose and install solar thermal solutions for industrial applications: e.g. boiler pre-feed, process heating, etc
- To propose, and install solar thermal solutions for special applications: e.g. solar drying, solar cooling, swimming pool heating, etc
- To report to VP Thermal Projects who will set targets and operating plans (op-plan)
- To pursue leads provided through the Commercial / Retail sales channel, collect the site survey, develop the proposal, and close the sale in coordination with GMs of Commercial / Retail
- To read civil drawings and assess space availability on the terrace for installation solar water heating systems
- To recommend innovative solutions to maximise available space, and meet customer requirements
- To design systems for specialised applications and work with vendors to develop and source these specialised systems
- To strive to achieve the most cost-effective solution in line with customer expectations
- To supervise installations of specialized applications to ensure delivery in line with quality standards
- To ensure overall customer satisfaction with the working of the entire system
- To develop and standardize new applications of solar thermal: e.g. swimming pool heating, solar drying, solar cooling, etc
