Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Sales Assistant Exports with a technical background in textiles to support the Export Sales team in customer coordination, quotations, order processing, documentation and sales MIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and record export sales enquiries and coordinate responses.
• Assist in preparing quotations, offers and proforma invoices.
• Understand basic yarn/product specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Planning teams for customer requirements and order execution.
• Process confirmed export orders and track production and dispatch schedules.
• Coordinate export documentation including invoices, packing lists and shipping documents.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA/customs agents and logistics partners.
• Communicate with overseas customers regarding enquiries, order status and shipments.
• Share shipment and dispatch details with customers.
• Maintain enquiry, quotation, order and customer records.
• Prepare sales MIS and support monthly sales reporting.
• Follow up on pending enquiries, quotations, orders and documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Textile Engineering / Textile Technology / Textile Chemistry / Textile Manufacturing or related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience, preferably in textile/yarn exports or export sales support.
• Basic understanding of textile/yarn products.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of export documentation and procedures.
• Excellent communication and email drafting skills.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and attention to detail.
• ERP/CRM knowledge will be an advantage.
