Sales and Marketing Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Visit major B & C-class customers in Pharma, Paper & Pulp, Fertilizers, Sugar, Ethanol, Food & Beverages and Process industry sectors.
• Generate enquiries and convert them into purchase orders.
• Maintain customer database and equipment data bank.
• Achieve assigned sales targets.
• Demonstrate strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Develop market intelligence reports on competitors' products, pricing, and promotions.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the B & C Class customers industry.
• Manage OEM sales activities through effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing strategies for mechanical seals, pumps, valves, compressors and rotating equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers by understanding their needs and offering solutions.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in B2B Marketing or Sales & Marketing role within the Industrial equipment/machinery.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (B.Tech / B.E.)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles applied to industrial equipment/machinery.
  Excellent sales/marketing and customer care skills for sales & support.
• Good analytical skills for conducting market research and competitive analysis.
• Good negotiation skills with new clients onboarding from enquiry to order.
