The Sagar Safar Executive - Outreach supports the Sagar Safar Educational Sea Swim Beach Safety Outreach Programme at designated beach locations - engaging tourists and visitors, promoting beach and water safety awareness, encouraging participation, and keeping daily outreach activities running smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and running the daily Sagar Safar outreach activities at designated beach locations.
- Engage tourists and visitors, and encourage participation in the educational sea swim and beach safety activities.
- Explain programme objectives, safety guidelines and participation procedures clearly, in a friendly and professional manner.
- Coordinate with Lifeguards, Beach Marshals and Operations teams so activities run smoothly and to Company SOPs.
- Collect visitor feedback and pass suggestions or concerns to the reporting Manager.
- Keep records of visitor participation and daily programme activities, and report any safety concern, visitor incident or operational issue to the Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications Skills
- Graduate in any discipline preferred; freshers may apply.
- A qualification or interest in Tourism, Hospitality, Public Safety, Sports, Marine Activities or Customer Service is an advantage.
- Good communication in English and Hindi / Marathi / Konkani, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, confident and approachable, and comfortable interacting with tourists and the public.
- Basic computer and reporting skills.
- Able to work outdoors at beach locations, including flexible hours, weekends and public holidays.
- Passion for promoting beach safety and responsible tourism. A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
