Safety Supervisor Job Description
Responsible for supervising and implementing site safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Monitor daily activities, conduct safety inspections and toolbox meetings, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with HSE standards and company safety procedures. Coordinate with workers and site management to prevent accidents and unsafe practices. Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and conduct regular safety awareness and compliance checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor site safety activities.
- Identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspections.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety procedures.
- Monitor permit-to-work activities and safe work practices.
- Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain safety documentation and daily inspection reports.
- Coordinate with site management and workers on HSE requirements.
