Safety Steward

• Monitor daily construction activities and ensure workers follow safety rules.
• Check the proper use of PPE, including helmets, safety shoes, reflective jackets, and safety harnesses.
• Monitor work-at-height activities, scaffolding, ladders, and edge protection.
• Ensure safe housekeeping and clear access routes at the construction site.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and immediately report them to the Safety Officer.
• Assist in conducting toolbox talks and safety awareness activities.
• Check barricading, warning signs, safety nets, and access controls.
• Monitor safe material handling and movement of workers at site.
• Report incidents, near misses, and emergency situations immediately.
• Maintain daily safety observation records and support site safety inspections.
• Ensure workers follow safety instructions during concrete pouring, shuttering, reinforcement, and other construction activities.

Preferred candidate profile :-

Qualification

10th / 12th Pass; a construction safety course or relevant safety training is preferred.

Experience

2 -3 years of experience in construction site safety, preferably in high-rise building projects.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Ability to identify and report unsafe conditions.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Discipline, alertness, and willingness to work at construction sites.
