About this role
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations in the API manufacturing plant.
- Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and EHS policies.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Monitor PPE compliance, fire safety systems, and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency mock drills.
- Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental compliance.
- Maintain EHS records, incident reports, permits, and statutory documentation.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, QC, Engineering, and other departments to maintain safe working conditions.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
