Description
We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by implementing safety policies, conducting audits, and providing training to employees.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
- Provide training and education to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a safety officer role or similar position.
- Knowledge of local safety regulations and standards in India.
- Certification in Safety Management or Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
