Safety Officer - Industrial / Lab

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessment, safety audits and mock drills to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with management to develop policies and procedures for maintaining a safe working environment
• Provide training on electrical safety, emergency preparedness, LOTO procedures and other relevant topics to employees.
• investigate accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement work permit systems to ensure controlled execution of high-risk tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile

• ADIS or PDIS certification after the graduation will be added advantage.
• 7-11 years of experience in a similar role within the oil & Gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, industrial safety practices, and relevant certifications.
