Safety Officer / Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with statutory Health & Safety regulations
• Conduct HIRA, JSA, Risk Assessments & Safety Audits
• Implement and monitor EHS policies and procedures
• Conduct incident/accident investigation and prepare corrective actions
• Manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programs
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices
• Support emergency preparedness and mock drills
• Maintain safety documentation, reports and records
• Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety standards

Preferred candidate profile

ME / M.Tech Industrial Safety
810 years of relevant industrial/manufacturing experience
Strong knowledge of HIRA, JSA, PTW & Incident Investigation
Good understanding of ISO 45001 / ISO 14001
Knowledge of statutory safety requirements and compliance
Strong communication and coordination skills
Experience in manufacturing / automotive / engineering / chemical industries preferred
