Safety Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety Compliance & Implementation

• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company policies.

• Implement safety standards.

• Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records.

2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

• Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment) for all processes and activities.

• Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and identify potential hazards.

• Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate risks.

• Review and update HIRA periodically or after any process change.

3. Shop Floor Monitoring

• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits.

• Ensure proper usage of PPE by employees and contractors.

• Monitor high-risk areas.

4. Incident Management

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain incident reports and track closure.

5. Training & Awareness

• Conduct safety induction and regular training programs.

• Educate employees on HIRA, safe work practices, and hazard control.

• Lead toolbox talks and safety campaigns.

6. Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and implement emergency response plans.

• Conduct mock drills and ensure readiness.

• Maintain firefighting and safety equipment.

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with departments for safety improvements.

• Liaise with statutory authorities.

• Prepare safety MIS reports and compliance updates.
